What Andi cannot help with

Andi is designed to support Dynamic Defense use cases, but there are clear boundaries to what it can do.

1. Andi Can’t Troubleshoot Networks Outside Dynamic Defense

Andi can help with Dynamic Defense-related troubleshooting, but it cannot diagnose or resolve broader network issues that exist outside the product.

For example, Andi cannot troubleshoot:

    • Internet connectivity issues unrelated to Dynamic Defense
    • Routing problems outside the Dynamic Defense environment
    • Third-party firewall, SD_WAN, or network device issues
    • Endpoint or application problems not visible to Dynamic Defense

2. Andi Can’t Analyze Traffic Beyond 40 Days

Andi can help analyze available traffic data, but traffic analysis is limited to the data retention window supported by Dynamic Defense. However, Andi cannot analyze traffic activity older than 40 days.

3. Andi Can’t Automatically Maintain Dynamic Defense Policy

Andi can explain policy behavior, provide guidance, and help users understand potential policy changes, but it cannot automatically maintain or manage policies on behalf of the customer. Customers remain in control of policy configuration and enforcement decisions.

Andi cannot:

    • Automatically create policy updates
    • Continously tune rules without user action
    • Independently approve or apply policy changes
    • Replace administrator review and decision-making

4. Andi Can’t Proactively Engage a User

Andi responds when a user asks for help, but it does not initiate conversations on its own. Users must engage Andi directly to receive assistance.

Andi cannot:

    • Proactively alert users through chat
    • Start an investigation without being prompted
    • Reach out with recommendations unless asked
    • Automically open a support conversation
