What's new:

1). Daily apps sync job:

    • Collects and update all container apps, child apps, apps dependency and apps description.
    • Updates the list of supported apps
    • Checks if dependency is changed for any of the existing apps:
      1. If dependency is changed for an allowed app while block apps is set as default behavior - the user gets email with recommendation to allow all dependencies for that app.
      2. Allow the user to update/create draft based on the recommendations in a click.
      3. New notification type ("Tip") handles all recommendations for the past 3 months.
      4. The app recommendation is displayed in the portal for the users upon their first login.
      5. Analytics events are defined to track recommendations email, notifications and modal on first login.

2). DNS Protection:

    • Users on Premium circuits can alert or block traffic that meet the criteria of DNS Protection.
    • Domains set to "Allow" in Web Filtering are also set as exceptions for blocked DNS traffic.
    • 2 new reports introduced: Top Blocked DNS Domains and Top DNS Categories Blocked
    • New DNS threat log type
    • Exclude DNS traffic from Top Detected Threats report

3). What's New: new modal describes the content of new releases

4). Release Notes: new section in the Knowledge Base to describe the content in each release.

Enhancements

1). Policy generator:

  • Apps: behavior is determined based on observed child apps behavior, instead of container apps.
  • Services: when services activity is observed on one direction, the behavior on the opposite direction is determined based on Apps behavior - Block or Not Apply.
  • Policy generator soaking period is up to 30 days

2). Change 'Top Global Block List Hits' report name to 'Top DD Shield Outbound Hits'

3). Added child-app column to the Traffic log

4). Add default comment to pulled policies

2). Reduce userinfo header size (255911)

3). Email notifications are supported by Mac
